DLC Greenteam

DLC Greenteam, the West Island’s Leading Landscaping and Snow Removal company, is looking for a Horticulture Account Manager to join our passionate and steadfast team. As a full-time, year-round member of DLC operations, he/she will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing existing clientele and developing new customer relationships for softscape projects and landscape maintenance services. They will have a role in the horticulture division quality control and daily field managerial functions amongst our garden department.

The right candidate for the job possesses strong organizational and communication abilities, ability to adapt with ease, a clean and professional presentation, a friendly demeanour and the drive to push the status quo in order to achieve high results for him/herself and for the company. In-depth and advanced horticulture knowledge and best-practices is an absolute must for this position.

Description sommaire des tâches

  • Produce solutions that satisfy our customers needs, and utilize upsell opportunities for materials and maintenance services.
  • Maintain a fast turn-around time for estimates, and follow up with customers once estimates have been sent, making adjustments if needed.
  • Manage quality control for existing customers in our garden division and provide crew training.
  • Collaborate with the Landscape Design Team, Maintenance Managers and Coordinators, and Customer Service Team to ensure that customers are satisfied with their design and/or services.
  • Meet with potential customers on site to listen to their project needs and perform a survey of the site (including measurements, grade, existing plants, etc).
  • Provide the ultimate customer experience through prompt communication, mutual trust, and attention to detail.


Exigences du poste

  • 5+ years’ combined field experience in landscaping and/or account management experience (preferably in a related field).
  • Bilingual in English and French. Spanish is an asset.
  • A valid Class 5 driver's licence.
  • Advanced horticulture knowledge is an absolute must - preferably a DEP in horticulture.
  • Expert knowledge of plant identification and plant disease and pest management treatments.
  • Experience in landscape design would be an asset, but not required.
  • Knowledge of LMN (industry software) for estimation purposes is an asset, but not required.
  • Outstanding people skills.
  • Able to effectively use email and other computer software (MS Office Suite) necessary to carry out the job of communication and scheduling.
  • Proven ability to organize and utilize time management and prioritization skills to effectively manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands.
